Stop the chaos. Clean up White Rock.

It's time for steady, experienced leadership at City Hall — a safer waterfront, housing that works, and a council that finally gets things done.

Why I'm running

White Rock deserves better than the chaos at City Hall.

For too long, infighting and dysfunction have stalled the decisions our community actually needs. Meanwhile our pier still isn't right, the waterfront doesn't feel as safe as it should, and our own kids and seniors can't find a home they can afford.

I'm Chris Shields, and I've spent more than 20 years leading large organizations, managing real budgets, and bringing people together to get results. I'm running for Mayor to end the chaos and get White Rock working again — for the people who live here.

My Priorities

For the White Rock we deserve

Four clear priorities. A practical plan. A focus on getting things done instead of fighting about them.

  • Improved street lighting
  • A revitalized, accessible pier
  • Real waterfront safety

  • Homelessness solutions
3

Economic Revitalization

  • A thriving waterfront
  • Tourism & events
  • Business attraction
  • Investment & jobs
4

Collaboration & Unity

  • A united council
  • Regional cooperation
  • Strong government relationships
  • White Rock's fair share

Meet Chris

Proven leadership, ready for City Hall.

Chris Shields has called White Rock home for [X years], and like a lot of us, he believes in this city's future as much as its past.

For more than 20 years, Chris has been a trusted leader — most recently as Chair of the British Columbia Real Estate Association, where he represented over 25,000 professionals across the province and led a major plan to modernize how the organization works. He's chaired finance and HR committees, managed through tough budgets, and built a career out of getting boards, governments, and communities to agree and move forward.

That's exactly what White Rock needs right now: someone who understands housing, manages money responsibly, and can bring a divided council together to deliver results instead of headlines. [Add a personal / community line here.]
